Albox is a municipality in the interior of the province of Almería, in the region of Valle del Almanzora, in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.
Have you heard of this charming town in Almería? Albox is known for the Sanctuary of the Virgen el Saliente. Built in the 18th century, it is the most important architectural jewel that the municipality has, in addition to being declared a historical-artistic monument. The town continues to have one of the oldest active Pottery workshops in the province of Almería.

This festival has been declared of Andalusian Tourist Interest. On September 8, the day of the Virgen del Saliente is celebrated. On November 1, the Cattle Fair, one of the most important cattle fairs in Spain in the past; and the San Francisco fair, on October 4. Holy Week in Albox is a week of processions where the steps of their brotherhoods parade.
